Disruption to bus service
The PC have been advised by Lincolnshire Highways of a disruption to the Scothern bus service which means that there will be NO buses through Scothern from Monday 11 June 2018 until Friday 16 June 2018. School buses will be escorted through the roadworks at Dunholme Road, Scothern but no other buses will be able to serve the village.
Service 11 will divert between Nettleham Green and Dunholme via the A46 in both directions and any passengers wishing to use the bus from Scothern are being advised to phone the Call Connect [see below] booking line on 03452 343344 to pre-book a journey on the 100L Call Connect Bus Service as the County Council are unable to fund a dedicated shuttle bus from the village.
Call Connect will pick up in the village and the usual drop off points are Tesco, Waitrose (where Stagecoach service numbers 11 and 12 can be picked up), Lincoln County Hospital, Newport Lincoln (Radio Lincolnshire). There is also a service into the city centre on Saturdays. Bus passes can be used on on Call Connect.
